No water shall be provided for internal or external use to any residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, recreational, governmental or public building or structure of any kind which is constructed or remodeled and in which plumbing, water piping or water fixtures are to be installed, extended or altered in any way and for which construction a permit is required by the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code (PA UCC), as amended, to be obtained from Doylestown Township. The provisions of this article shall apply to any such building or structure for which such a permit is issued.

Performance standards and exemption must comply with the International Plumbing Code as referenced by the PA UCC, as amended.

Any person, including but not limited to a natural person, corporation, partnership or any other legal entity, who shall violate the terms and conditions of this article shall be guilty of a summary offense and shall be subject to a fine of not less than $1,000 per violation, and each and every day shall be considered a violation.
