The purpose of this chapter is to protect property
owners from noise emanating from adjoining properties which is of
such a nature and during such times that it interferes with the reasonable
use and enjoyment of their properties.
As used in this chapter, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
PERSON
Any natural person, corporation, partnership, joint venture,
sole proprietorship, firm, association and any other entity of whatever
type.

Any person violating or permitting the violation
of this chapter shall, upon being found liable therefor in a criminal
enforcement proceeding in the form of a summary offense under the
Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, pay a fine of not more than
$1,000 nor less than $25, together with court costs and reasonable
attorneys' fees, and may be incarcerated for a period not exceeding
90 days. Such fine, costs, attorneys' fees and incarceration,
after being reduced to a final, unappealed judgment, shall be enforced
by the Township pursuant to the applicable rules of criminal procedure.
Each day or portion of a day of violation and each section of this
chapter violated shall constitute a separate violation.
