All trash and garbage containers shall be kept
sufficiently clean so as to avoid attraction of insects and/or rodents
and to minimize foul odors.
In the event any person or association of persons
intends to wash down any trash cans, garbage cans or other approved
trash and garbage containers out-of-doors, such person or association
of persons shall be governed by the following requirements:
A.
The area on the property in which the wash down is
to be performed shall be subject to prior approval of the Construction
Official.
B.
All wash down areas shall have a drainage system to
carry away waste fluids and residues into the sanitary sewerage collection
system.
C.
The wash down shall be performed so as to avoid ponding,
and no fluid residue or waste products shall be handled in such a
way as to enter the storm drainage system of the Borough.
