The Incorporated Village of Plandome operates a municipal
water distribution system and provides for individual service connections
to the main through a curb-stop (shutoff valve) located at or near
the curb. The Village will maintain the service line up to and including
the curb-stop.
B.
Each property owner shall be responsible for the installation,
maintenance and repair of the service line from his/her curb-stop
to the property being supplied. In addition, the homeowner shall be
responsible for any water lost as a result of leakage or breaks in
that section of the service line.
