In accordance with the provisions of the New
York State Penal Law, no person shall willfully break, deface or take
down, carry away or interfere with any electrical light apparatus,
sign, pole, street marking or fire hydrant or any part thereof which
shall be in any street or public place, except upon obtaining permission
from the proper authority.
No person shall ride or drive a vehicle over
any berm, except over a driveway established for that purpose or where
the same may be necessary in order to reach land upon which a building
is being erected where no driveway has been established.
No person shall park or stand on the berm except
on an established driveway and then only when such parking or standing
does not impair the line of sight between any vehicle or pedestrian
moving on a street and any vehicle or pedestrian leaving a private
driveway on an adjoining property.
The parking or standing of vehicles is hereby
prohibited at all times in the following locations:
A. In front of a private driveway; and
B. Within 15 feet of the edge of the curb cut of such
driveway if such parking or standing impairs the line of sight between
any vehicle or pedestrian moving on a street and any vehicle or pedestrian
leaving such private driveway or a private driveway on an adjoining
property.
No person or firm may store any type of construction
materials, equipment or other materials on the berm.
