A. Applicable to the use of service for:
(1) Single-phase residential purpose usage in an individual residence;
(2) An individual flat or individual apartment in a multiple-family dwelling;
(3) Residential purposes in a rooming house where not more than four
rooms are available for rent;
(4) Single-phase farm service when supplied through the farm residence
meter;
(5) Exclusively in connection with religious purposes by corporations
or associations organized and conducted in good faith for religious
purposes, and including the operation by such corporation or association
of a school, notwithstanding that secular subjects are taught at such
school;
(6) Single-phase service exclusively in connection with a community residence
as defined in Subdivision 28, 28A or 28B of § 1.03 of the
Mental Hygiene Law, provided that such residence is operated by a
not-for-profit corporation and, if supervisory staff is on site on
a twenty-four-hour-per-day basis, that the residence provides living
accommodations for 14 or fewer residents; and
(7) Any post or hall owned or leased by a not-for-profit organization
that is a veterans organization.
B. Character of service: continuous, alternating current, single-phase,
approximately sixty-cycle, one-hundred-twenty-volt two-wire or one-hundred-twenty-two-hundred-forty-volt
three-wire, plus or minus 10%.

D. Minimum charge. The minimum monthly charge is the customer charge.
E. Terms of payment. All bills are due when rendered. Full payment must
be received on or before the date shown on the bill to avoid a late
payment charge of 1.5% as provided in Rule VIII of the NYMPA generic
tariff.
F. Termination of service. The customer may terminate service after
three days' notice to the municipality.
G. Special provisions.
(1) Written application for service may be required.
(2) In buildings, apartments or flats intended for residence where not
more than two rooms occupied exclusively by the resident are used
for business or for professional purposes, this classification will
apply to both uses. Under other circumstances, Service Classification
No. 2 will apply to such business or professional use.
H. Purchased power adjustment. The charges set forth in this service
classification shall be subject to a purchased power adjustment as
explained in Rule IX of the NYMPA generic tariff.
I. Base purchased power cost per kilowatt-hour. The base purchased power
cost per kilowatt-hour pursuant to Rule IX.B of the NYMPA generic
tariff is 0.012556.
J. Factor of adjustment. The factor of adjustment pursuant to Rule IX.D
of the NYMPA generic tariff is 1.057728.

A. Applicable to the use of service for:
(1) All purposes not otherwise specifically provided for in other service
classifications in this schedule;
(2) Sales to the operating municipality; and
(3) Street and traffic lighting.
B. Character of service: continuous, alternating current, approximately
sixty-cycle, at secondary voltage ranging from 120/240 to 208 three-phase,
four-wire volts, as available. The municipality will indicate, upon
application, the type or types of service available and appropriate
for the customer's requirements: single-phase or three-phase;
two, three, or four wires; and the voltage.

A. Applicable to use of service for: primary service for all purposes
not otherwise specifically provided for in other service classifications
in this schedule when the demand is 50 kilowatts or more and/or monthly
use of energy shall be 10,000 kilowatt-hours or more for two consecutive
months.
B. Character of service: Continuous, alternating current, three-phase,
approximately sixty-cycle, 4160 wye. Characteristics depend upon available
circuits.

D. Minimum charge. The minimum monthly charge is the demand charge computed under Subsection
C, Monthly rate, the active demand being determined in accordance with the provisions included under Subsection
E Determination of demand.
E. Determination of demand. The active demand shall be the maximum fifteen-minute
integrated-kilowatt demand. For billing purposes, the demand shall
be the greatest of the following:
(1) The demand occurring during the month for which the charge is made.
(2) One-half the highest demand occurring during any of the preceding
11 months.
(3) During the initial tent, the demand contracted for.
F. Terms of payment. All bills are due when rendered. Full payment must
be received on or before the date shown on the bill to avoid a late
payment charge of 1.5% as provided in Rule VIII of the NYMPA generic
tariff.
G. Purchased power adjustment. The charges set forth in this service
classification shall be subject to a purchased power adjustment as
explained in Rule IX of the NYMPA generic tariff.

desiring this type of service.
B. Character of service: unmetered.
C. Monthly rate (per unit): $8.39.

When service has been discontinued, either by the municipality
as provided in Rule XIII of the NYMPA generic tariff or at the request
of the consumer, and the same consumer applies for reconnection of
service at the same premises within four months, there shall be a
reconnection charge payable before service will be reestablished,
in the amounts as follows:
A. During the regular working hours of the Electric Department, Monday
through Friday: $30.
B. After the regular working hours of the Electric Department, Monday
through Friday, and Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays: $60.
