As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings indicated:
BOATS
Includes all boats on trailers.
COMMERCIAL USE
The use of any Town dock by anyone for the purpose from which a profit or any form of payment is or may be derived.

LAUNCH ATTENDANT
A person who in designated by the Town Board to monitor the launching of and removal of boats from the Town launch.

PARK
The Hague Town Park established on the shore of Lake George and any docks, floats and other facilities furnished by the Town of Hague either on the land or in the waters of Lake George for use in connection with the park.
PARKING LOTS
The blacktop area used for parking motorized vehicles.
PERSON
Includes any individual, society, club, firm, partnership, corporation or association of persons, and references to the singular shall include the plural.
REFUSE
Includes food, animal or vegetable matter, papers, cans, bottles and all forms of waste materials.
RESIDENT
A person who resides in the Town of Hague.

VEHICLES
Includes any and all motorized vehicles including, without limitation, all motorcycles, motor bikes, mopeds and nonmechanized bicycles.
A. 
The park shall be open to the public at 8:00 a.m. and closed at 11:00 p.m., Eastern daylight time, and it shall be unlawful to be within the park during any other hour unless written permission is first obtained from the Town Board.
B. 
There shall be no boats in the slip and no vehicles in the parking lot between 11:00 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
A. 
Parking shall be permitted in the designated parking spaces, within the blacktop area. The east side of the parking lot will be for residents with a resident multiuse permit sticker that is affixed to the vehicle. The west side of the parking lot will be available for vehicles without multiuse permits.

B. 
There shall be no parking of trailers at any time in the park or parking lots.
C. 
It shall be unlawful to rig and/or unrig a boat between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the park or parking lot. Rigging/unrigging may take place between the hours of 5:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.
D. 
Nonmechanized bicycles shall be permitted at the bicycle rack only.

E. 
No unauthorized motor vehicles are allowed off the paved areas of the park.

A. 
No unauthorized vehicles are allowed in the emergency access area of the boat launch.
A. 
There shall be no ball games, horseshoe games, darts or other games involving airborne projectiles within the confines of the park.
B. 
It shall be unlawful to build any fires in the park without prior Town Supervisor's written approval.

C. 
It shall be unlawful to erect any tents or similar structures within the park without prior permission of the Town Board.
D. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to use loud or obscene language within the park.
E. 
It shall be unlawful for any person to bring or keep any domesticated animals or pets within the park.
F. 
It shall be unlawful to bring any alcoholic beverages into the park.
G. 
It shall be unlawful to swim outside the confines of the floats.
H. 
It shall be unlawful to loiter within the confines of the park.
I. 
It shall be unlawful to use a metal detector in the park without prior written approval of the Town Supervisor.
A. 
Boats may be placed into the lake and removed therefrom only when a Town of Hague Launch Attendant is present. Only vehicles with an attached multiuse permit sticker may launch a boat at no cost. Hours and dates of operation will be as set from time to time by resolution of the Town Board.

B. 
Any nonresident wishing to use the boat slip to launch boats must pay a launching fee as set from time to time by resolution of the Town Board. Such fee entitles one specific boat to be launched and taken out one time.

C. 
Yearly launching permit fees.

(1) 
A yearly individual launching permit may be obtained at the town offices during regular business hours for a fee as set from time to time by resolution of the Town Board. This permit must be renewed yearly and can be used specifically for the boat it is issued for.
(2) 
A yearly commercial launching permit may be obtained at the town offices during regular business hours for resident and nonresident fees as set from time to time by resolution of the Town Board.
D. 
A seasonal pass book of five tickets may be purchased for a fee as set from time to time by resolution of the Town Board. Each ticket only permits a single specific boat to be launched one time.

E. 
Any boat brought in on a trailer is subject to one of the above fees.
F. 
Property owners and residents of the Town of Hague may apply at the Town office for a multiuse permit sticker which permits free launching.

Editor's Note: Former Subsection G, regarding the docking of boats over 20 feet in length, was repealed 4-8-2014. The resolution adopted this date also provided for the redesignation of Subsections H through J as Subsections G through I, respectively.
H. 
There shall be no docking in the red areas. Docking in the red area closest to the parking lot will be allowed for the launching or the removal of a boat. No loading or unloading is allowed in this area.

I. 
It shall be unlawful for launchers to repair boats in the boat slip.
J. 
Commercial use of dock.

(1) 
The Commercial use of any town dock is only allowed by permission of the Town Board with the exception of those who have obtained an annual commercial launching permit for dry dock launching only (referenced by § 124-6C(2).
(2) 
Anyone receiving permission from the Town Board to use any Town of Hague dock for commercial purposes must submit annually proof of insurance coverage, to the Town Clerk, listing the Town of Hague as an additional insured.
The Town Board shall post within the park a notice incorporating these rules and regulations.

A. 
Any person violating this chapter shall be subject to a fine of not more than $250 or to imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
B. 
Violators of § 124-3, Limitation on boats within Town launch, will be removed at the owner's expense. Fines will be levied as prescribed in the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.

The Hague Town Board approved the following regulations governing the use of the two parking lots on Route 8 as part of the Hague Town Park, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 124, Parks, of the Code of the Town of Hague.
The use of each parking lot shall have the following restrictions:
A. 
Parking shall be permitted for passenger vehicles only.
B. 
There shall be no parking of vehicles between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
Pursuant to the provisions of § 124-8 of the Town Code, the Town Board shall post within each parking lot a notice incorporating these rules and regulations.

A. 
Any person violating this article shall be fined a minimum of $25 and a maximum of $100 for each offense.
B. 
Violations of § 124-3, Limitation on vehicles within park, will be removed at the owner's expense. Fines will be levied as prescribed in the New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law.
