The Town Board may, when satisfied of a violation of the terms of this chapter by a permit holder, suspend or revoke any permit after a hearing on not less than 10 days' notice. When notice of hearing for violation is given, the Board may suspend any permit pending hearing and determination of charges of violation.
The New York justice courts shall have criminal and civil jurisdiction to adjudicate violations of this chapter. Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined in an amount not exceeding $250 or be imprisoned for a term not exceeding 15 days, or both, for each violation.
The Town Board may sue for civil damages or for injunction or other remedy for violation in any court of applicable jurisdiction to enforce this chapter and remedy any violation. A civil penalty of $500 per day or $3,500 per week shall be assessed for continuing violations.
