No person shall be permitted to examine police records of accidents
or other casualties except upon specific authorization of the Chief of the
Police Department or the Director of Public Safety.

A. Fees for certified copies of accident or other casualty
reports, or any other related information of or pertaining to any automobile
accident or other casualty, on file in the Police Department of the Township
of Pennsauken, may be secured by payment of the fees as provided in N.J.S.A.
47:1A-2. There shall also be a charge of $5 per photograph for each photograph
requested of accidents or casualties.
B. There shall be a fee of $25 for the viewing of a videotape
of an individual's driving while intoxicated (DWI) arrest and sobriety test.
The viewing of a video will be regulated by police procedures and subject
to regulations dealing with the public's right to know and an individual's
rights to privacy.

The Chief of Police may impound such records and decline to issue copies
of such reports when, in his or her judgment, the interests of law enforcement
and public safety so require.

Any individual, not a resident of the Township of Pennsauken, who requests
the services of the Pennsauken Police Department for the purposes of fingerprinting
such individual for such individual's private use shall be charged a fee of
$3 for such services.
This fee shall not apply to instances where fingerprinting is performed
as a required law enforcement function of the Police Department.
