It shall hereafter be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to cause or permit the introduction into the sewage system in the Township of Pennsauken of any naphtha, gasoline, kerosene, oil, grease or other inflammable or explosive material, whether or not the same is mixed with other matters or substances.
Every public garage in said Township or every place where gasoline or oil is used or sold for commercial purposes must be equipped with tight metal containers for the purpose of keeping all waste, gasoline, oil, grease or other such substances until the same can be transported from said garage or place as aforesaid. Said containers shall not exceed 20 gallons in capacity and shall be equipped with tight covers so that the same will not constitute a fire menace.
All drains connecting any wash paves or other places where automobiles are washed or other objects are cleaned, when the cleaning operation involves the removal of sand, dirt, tar or other such material, or when combustible or explosive material is used for the purpose of cleaning, must be equipped with a suitable trap of a design to be approved by the Township Engineers and by the Township Committee so as to prevent the waste products from such operations being introduced into the sewage system of said Township.

All persons, firms or corporations offending against or failing to comply with the provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to one or more of the following: a fine not exceeding $1,250 or imprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding 90 days, or a period of community service not exceeding 90 days, in the discretion of the Municipal Court Judge.
