The Committee shall, by resolution, determine
the frequency of payment of all officers and employees of the township,
subject to the following:
A. In the case of full-time officers and employees, not
less frequently than biweekly.
B. In the case of part-time officers and employees, not
less frequently than monthly.
C. In the case of part-time elected officials, generally
not less frequently than every four months, except that an individual
official may request, in writing to the Chief Financial Officer of
the township, to be paid either one time or two times per year.

A payroll account for the township shall be created. Upon the payment of moneys for payroll claims as specified in §
4-15A of this chapter to the Chief Municipal Finance Officer or designee, he shall deposit the same into said account and charge the appropriate budgetary accounts therewith.

The Chief Municipal Finance Officer or designee
shall prepare or have prepared the necessary payroll checks for the
payment of payroll from the account herein created. In addition to
the payroll checks, from this account shall be drawn such checks as
are necessary to pay any sums required to be withheld from the salaries
of employees and officials, and shall be transmitted forthwith, as
required by law, such sums withheld to the agencies affected.

The Mayor or, in his absence, the Deputy Mayor
and the Chief Municipal Finance Officer or designee shall sign all
disbursements from the payroll account.
