There is hereby created the Office of Deputy
Municipal Clerk. Said office shall be filled each year by appointment,
by resolution of the Township Committee. The term for said office
shall be one year, commencing on January 1 of each year and terminating
on December 31 of the same year. The Deputy Clerk shall be paid at
the rate as specified by the current Salary Ordinance of this Township
until further specified by amendment to this article or by amendment
to the Salary Ordinance of this Township. During the absence or disability
of the Municipal Clerk, the Deputy Municipal Clerk shall have all
the powers of the Municipal Clerk and shall perform the functions
and duties of such office.
