The position of Deputy Building Inspector is
hereby created for the Township of Woolwich. The term of said position
shall be one year. The position shall be filled by appointment by
the Township Committee on an annual basis. The Deputy Building Inspector
is hereby authorized to enter into and inspect any place or building
for the purpose of ascertaining whether the same is in accordance
with the provisions of any ordinance regulating the construction or
materials to be used in any such place or building. The Deputy Building
Inspector shall report to and serve under the direction of the Building
Inspector. The Deputy Building Inspector shall issue no permits. The
Deputy Building Inspector shall serve without compensation unless
subsequently authorized by ordinance.
