There is hereby created, pursuant to N.J.S.A.
40A:9-140.1 et seq., the position of Chief Financial Officer within
the Township of Woolwich.
The Chief Financial Officer shall be appointed
by the Committee from among such persons as are qualified pursuant
to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.1 et seq.
The Chief Financial Officer shall receive a
salary as provided by the Salary Ordinance of the Township of Woolwich.
The Chief Financial Officer of the Township
of Woolwich shall have such powers and duties as are otherwise required
by the laws of the State of New Jersey for such officers, including
but not limited to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-140.1 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 52:27BB-26
et seq.
Nothing herein shall be construed to prohibit
the Chief Financial Officer from holding any other position within
the Township, provided that such appointment is not prohibited by
state law.
