Games of chance in parks — See Ch. 200.
Organizations and associations duly licensed to hold and operate legalized games of chance under the provisions of N.J.S.A. 5:8-24 et seq. and 5:8-50 et seq. are hereby authorized pursuant to N.J.S.A. 5:8-31 and 5:8-58 to hold, conduct and operate legalized games of chance in the Borough of Emerson on Sundays between the hours of 2:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m.

The Municipal Clerk is hereby delegated the authority to act as the issuing authority to approve the granting of raffle and bingo licenses.

Bingo: $20 for each occasion on which any game or games of bingo are to be conducted under the license.
On-premise draw raffle for cash 50/50 or merchandise greater than $400: $20 for each day on which a drawing is to be conducted under the license; valued less than $400: no fee. If the raffle should exceed $400, then $20 at the time of filing report of operations.
Off-premise draw raffle awarding merchandise as a prize for each $1,000 of merchandise, or part thereof: $20.
Off-premise cash 50/50 raffle: $20 at the time of application. If more than $1,000 is awarded in prizes, then $20 per $1,000 in awarded prizes, or part thereof.
Carnival games or wheel: $20 for each game or wheel held on any one day, or any series of consecutive days not exceeding six days at one location.
Calendar raffle: $20 for each $1,000, or part thereof, of the retail value of the prize.
Instant raffle: $20 per day, but no more than $150 per year.
Golf hole-in one: $20 per day, but no more than $1,000, or part thereof, of the retail value of ancillary prizes.
Armchair race: $50 per licensed day of operation.
Casino night: $50 per occasion.

Any person who violates any of the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine not exceeding $500 or by imprisonment not exceeding 90 days, or by both said fine and imprisonment.
