The purpose of this chapter is to establish an Architectural Review Board:
A. 
To advise and assist village officials and agencies in administering Chapters 75 and 77 of this Code.
B. 
To participate in site plan approval procedures as set forth in Chapter 79.
C. 
To give advice on architectural questions upon the request of the Village Board of Trustees or its designees.
A. 
The Architectural Review Board shall be composed of three to five persons appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Village Board of Trustees for a term of three years. At least one member of the Architectural Review Board shall have an architectural background.
B. 
The Architectural Review Board that is already established shall continue to function, and the members thereof shall remain in office until their respective terms expire.
C. 
If the membership of the Architectural Review Board falls below three members, the Mayor with the approval of the Village Board of Trustees will name interim appointees to complete the term of each vacant seat.
The Architectural Review Board shall meet at least once a month. A quorum shall consist of three members.
Decisions of the Architectural Review Board shall be by a majority vote of the total membership of the Architectural Review Board.
