A. 
Sewer system.
(1) 
All construction, reconstruction, and alterations of sewer facilities shall be performed in accordance with recognized industry and trade standards and these specifications. The Authority reserves the right, at its discretion, to stop, or require reconstruction of, any work not conforming to these Rules and Regulations.
(2) 
All construction, reconstruction, and alterations of sewer connections and appurtenances shall be performed in a competent workmanlike manner in accordance with recognized standards of the plumbing trade and specifications currently on file with the Authority. The Authority in its sole discretion may stop, or require reconstruction of, any work not conforming to its standards or specifications.
B. 
Sewage and wastes. All sewage and allowable industrial waste may be discharged to the sewerage system except those which the Authority deems harmful to the sewer system or which are specifically prohibited by these Rules and Regulations. No user shall discharge or cause to be discharged any stormwater, surface water, groundwater, roof runoff, subsurface drainage, cooling water, drainage from tile fields or unpolluted process waters to any sanitary sewer. No user shall contribute or cause to be contributed, directly or indirectly, any pollutant or wastewater which causes interference or pass-through. These general prohibitions apply to all such users of the sewerage system whether or not the user is subject to National Categorical Pretreatment Standards or any other national, state, or local pretreatment standards or pretreatment requirements.
A. 
No connection, through which sanitary sewage or industrial waste does or may enter the sewer system, shall be constructed, altered, repaired, or allowed to exist, which does not comply with the Authority's most current edition of these Rules and Regulations.
B. 
Any sewers, pump stations, force mains, and other sewerage facilities constructed, or constructed and maintained, within the service area of the Authority, by a developer shall meet the requirements of the Authority's most current Rules and Regulations, specified previously, before the ownership of such facilities is accepted by the Authority or before the Authority will permit sewage from said facility to discharge into the Authority's sewer system.
C. 
The requirements of the Authority's Rules and Regulations for the discharge of industrial waste shall apply to all direct and indirect contributors to the Authority's sewer system. When a conflict occurs between the standard specifications and the industrial waste regulations (Chapter 60), the industrial waste regulations (Chapter 60) shall govern.
