No person may sell, transfer, exchange, purchase, receive or
offer to sell, transfer, exchange, transport, purchase, receive, appropriate
or remove any relic(s), object(s), fossil(s) or artifact(s) of an
historical nature originating or found in a public building or on
public property without the express written permission of the City
or the public entity in charge of the public property or building.
For purposes of this chapter, "artifacts" are as defined in
N.J.S.A. 13:1L-10 (L. 2004, c. 170).
In addition to any criminal penalty, any person who violates any provision of this chapter shall be subject to the penalties set forth in Chapter
1, Article
IV, General Penalty.
