The office of Personnel Director and Affirmative
Action Officer be and the same is hereby created within the City of
Linwood.
The Personnel Director and Affirmative Action
Officer shall be appointed by resolution of the Common Council of
the City of Linwood and shall serve for a period of one year commencing
each January 1; provided, however, that the Common Council of the
City of Linwood may by resolution make the first appointment from
the date of appointment until December 31, 1977.
It shall be the duty of the Personnel Director
and Affirmative Action Officer to develop an affirmative action plan
for the City of Linwood in accordance with the resolution of the Common
Council of the City of Linwood and in accordance with the laws of
the State of New Jersey and the United States.
