The office of Deputy Police Chief for the Municipal
Police Department of the City of Linwood, New Jersey, shall be and
the same is hereby created.
Said Deputy Police Chief shall be a member of
the Police Department of the City of Linwood and shall have served
a minimum of four years in a supervisory capacity. His duties shall
be to assist the Police Chief in the management and discipline of
the Municipal Police Department and to do related work as required.

Said Deputy Police Chief may be appointed by
the Mayor, at his sole discretion, subject to confirmation by the
Common Council of Linwood, New Jersey.
