No individual may hunt for wild turkey, as defined
in the Conservation Code, except as provided below.
All hunters are encouraged to have a tribal
identification card in their possession while hunting.
The following acts shall be prohibited:
B. Taking turkey from night roost.
The following safety tips are recommended to
protect everyone. Hunt safely and respect mother earth.
A. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.
B. Be certain what you see or hear is a turkey not a
decoy or another hunter.
C. Do not wear blue, red or white colors when hunting
turkey; these are the colors of the gobbler.
D. When still hunting and another hunter approaches use
your voice to identify that you are there. Never wave your arms or
stand up quickly when other hunters approach.
E. Never use your turkey call when there are hunters
around or near you.
F. Never hunt with a decoy closer than 200 yards to any
road.
