The biennial municipal elections shall be held
on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November of the odd-numbered
years according to General Statutes § 9-164.
A. The polls shall be opened from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
for municipal elections.
B. The polls shall be opened from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
for referenda.
The polling place shall be as provided in General
Statutes § 9-168a or as determined by the Board of Selectmen.
There shall be two shifts for each polling place
under the provisions of General Statutes § 9-258a.
The signpost shall be the bulletin board near
the Town Clerk's office in the Town Office Building, and for purposes
of convenience may be posted at other places.

The place for the conduct of Town business for
all Town officers, boards and commissions, excepting the Board of
Education, shall be any Town-owned or Town-leased buildings or any
building owned or leased by Regional School District No. 8 and any
other facility approved by the Board of Selectmen, provided that the
same is fully open to the public at the time of such meeting. The
place for maintaining all records thereof shall be the Town Office
Building or any Town-owned or Town-leased buildings.
The Town brand shall be the diamond.
The fiscal year for the Town shall commence
July 1 in each year and end on June 30 in each year.
