It shall unlawful for any person, firm, copartnership or corporation
to keep, display, place, sell and/or offer for sale any food products,
fruits, vegetables or produce of any kind outside of any buildings
within the Village of Monticello, New York, except as otherwise provided
hereinafter.
This chapter is entitled "A Local Law Providing for the Outdoor
Sale of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables in the Village of Monticello,
New York."
Every person, firm or corporation operating any premises in
said Village under a license as herein provided shall keep and maintain
said premises in a clean and sanitary condition and shall not permit
or allow any diseased, rotten or decayed fruits, vegetables or substance
to be offered for sale or to remain upon said premises.
Toilet and washing facilities and dressing rooms shall be furnished
upon said premises for persons employed by said licensee to work on
the premises, in accordance with the health and labor laws of the
State of New York.

Any person committing an offense against any provision of this chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be guilty of a violation, punishable as provided in Article
III, General Penalty, of Chapter
1 of the Code of the Village of Monticello.
