Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law of the State of New
York and all rules and regulations enacted by the New York State Gaming
Commission be and the same are hereby incorporated herein and made
a part of the Village Code of the Village of Monticello as though
fully set forth.
The provisions of Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law of
the State of New York and the aforesaid rules and regulations are
adopted as a local law by the Village of Monticello with the same
force and effect as though the full language thereof were herein set
forth at length.
Games of chance may be conducted by authorized organizations
upon obtaining a license therefor within the territorial limits of
the Village of Monticello, subject to the definitions, limits, restrictions
and regulations imposed by Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law
and the aforesaid rules and regulations, as incorporated in the aforesaid
Village Code, and as said Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law
and said rules and regulations may be from time to time modified and
amended.
As used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the
meanings indicated:
CLERK
The Clerk of the Village of Monticello.
OFFICER
The Chief of Police of the Police Department of the Village
of Monticello.
The conduct of games of chance on Sunday is authorized as regulated
by Article 9-A of the General Municipal Law.
