No more than a total of five dogs and/or cats
of licensing age shall be kept, maintained or harbored at any one
time in any one household. An owner who, at the effective date of
this article, should possess more than five dogs and/or cats shall
be permitted to keep and maintain said number of animals as long as
all such animals are properly licensed and neutered in accordance
with the requirements of this article as of its effective date. When
one of the number of animals in excess of the number permitted by
this article shall die or be transferred out of the Borough of Gibbsboro,
such animal may not be replaced without compliance with all of the
provisions of this article. This section shall not apply to those
having a valid commercial kennel license.
Any person violating this article shall be subject to the penalties in Chapter
1, Article
I, General Penalty.
