The purpose of this chapter shall be to preserve
the public peace and good order in the areas owned by the Town of
Chili and operated as public parks and to contribute to the safety
and enjoyment of the users of the parks by regulating the hours of
use, the use of motorized vehicles and by prohibiting certain activities
inimical to customary park recreation uses.
As used in this chapter, the following terms
shall have the meanings indicated:
PARKS
The grounds, buildings thereon, waters therein and any other
property necessary for the operation thereof and constituting a part
thereof, which are now or may thereafter be maintained or operated
and controlled by the Town of Chili.

The Code Enforcement Officer, Supervisor, Deputy
Supervisor and/or the Director of Recreation is charged with administering
this chapter, and the Commissioner of Public Works shall be responsible
for the proper posting of signs in park land.

A. Violation of any provisions or regulations of this
chapter shall be punishable, upon conviction, by a fine of not more
than $250.

B. In addition to other remedies, the Town Board may
also enforce obedience to the chapter by injunction.
