All trash deposited at curbside for pickup by
the municipality shall be placed at the curbside no earlier than 24
hours prior to the scheduled time of pickup.
All trash deposited at curbside shall be placed
in closed containers which prevent such trash from becoming scattered.
Any food material placed for disposal at curbside
shall be placed in a closed container which will prevent access to
the trash or garbage by animals.

Any person who shall violate any provision of
this article shall, upon conviction, be subject to a fine not exceeding
$2,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 90 days or a period
of community service not exceeding 90 days, or any combination thereof.
This article shall become effective immediately
upon final adoption and interpreted to be an additional requirement
in addition to all other ordinances regulating the handling and disposal
of trash in Commercial Township.
