Town of Rockland, MA Article IV Town Collector

§ 104-8 Term of office.

There shall be a Town Collector, elected, whose term of office shall be three years. (Charter § C-2.05A)

§ 104-9 Powers and duties.

A. The Town Collector shall have all of the powers and duties conferred upon the office by the Charter, the Town bylaws, votes of Town Meetings, and the General Laws of the Commonwealth. (Charter § C-2.05B)

B. The Town Collector may use all means of collecting taxes which a Town Treasurer may use when appointed a Collector of Taxes.
