A. Each eligible
regular full-time employee will be credited with paid vacation time
in accordance with the schedule below. A vacation day is equal in
hours to the average number of hours an employee is normally scheduled
to work each week divided by five, rounded to the nearest half hour.
An employee may take vacation leave only after it has been credited.
B. Following
completion of six months of continuous service, one day of vacation
leave shall be credited on the first day of each month during the
first calendar year of employment, up to a total of five days.

as follows: An employee who has completed six months of continuous
service shall be credited with 10 days’ vacation leave on January

a pro rata amount of vacation leave shall be credited on the employee's

is reached. If the six-month anniversary occurs on April 1, vacation
leave credited will be 10 days times 9/12, which amounts to 7.5 days.
E. Ten days’
vacation leave shall be credited on January 1 of each subsequent calendar
year through the completion of five full calendar years of continuous
service.
