This chapter shall be known and may be cited
as the "Building Code of the Incorporated Village of Plandome Manor."

The Village Board, recognizing the Executive
Law of the State of New York, Article 18, New York State Uniform Fire
Prevention and Building Code Act, Title 19 NYCRR Part 1203, Uniform
Code: Minimum Standards for Administration and Enforcement, finds
that public health, safety, welfare and the good order and governance
of the Village will be enhanced by the adoption of the current Uniform
Fire Prevention and Building Code, including the 2007 Building Code,
Energy Conservation Construction Code, Existing Building Code, Fire
Code (IFC), Fuel Gas Code, Mechanical Code, Plumbing Code, Property
Maintenance Code and Residential Code, and all amendments thereto,
as the applicable Building Code of the Incorporated Village of Plandome
Manor.
This chapter shall apply throughout the applicable
jurisdiction of the Incorporated Village of Plandome Manor.
