This chapter has been established to provide
a synopsis of legislation relating to the creation of authorities
by the Board of Supervisors.
Lower Gynedd Township Municipal Authority. Under
the provisions of the Municipal Authorities Act of 1945, being the
Act of May 2, 1945 (P.L. 382), as amended, the Lower Gwynedd Township
Municipal Authority was created by Ordinance 35, passed April 20,
1959. Its term of existence was extended fifty years by Resolution
85-37, passed August 20, 1985.
