[Adopted 12-17-1991 (Ch. 11, § 11.09, of the 1986 Code)]
Illinois Statutes 705 ILCS 105/27.5 controls the collection and distribution of monies by the Circuit Clerk. The statute provides that counties with a population under 2,000,000 may, by ordinance, elect not to be subject to this article, and the McLean County Board finds that said statute imposes an inordinate expense on the Circuit Clerk and on the citizens of McLean County.
McLean County shall not be subject to the provisions of 705 ILCS 105/27.5.
