A seven-member Council on Aging shall be appointed by the Select
Board for the purpose of carrying out programs designed to meet the
problems of the aging.

The Select Board shall appoint the seven-member Council, three
members to serve for three years, three members to serve for two years,
and one member to serve for one year.
The Council may appoint a clerk and other employees.

The names, addresses, telephone numbers or other identifying
information about elderly persons in the possession of the Council
shall not be public records, but the use of these records shall comply
with MGL c. 19A, § 14 et seq., as a condition of receiving a
government contract, program grant or other benefit, or as otherwise
required by law.
