The subdivision regulations for the Town of Dickinson shall
be administered by the Town Planning Board in cooperation with the
Town Board, the Town Code Enforcement Officer and other Town agencies.
All requests for information, application forms or other related materials
should be directed to the Town of Dickinson Code Enforcement Officer.
It is recommended that any potential applicant for subdivision
review contact the Town Planning Board or the Town Code Enforcement
Officer to discuss the nature of his proposal on an informal basis
prior to initiating a formal request for review. Such an action may
serve to save both the subdivider and the reviewing agencies a good
deal of time in processing. Representatives from the Broome County
Health Department, the Broome County Planning Department, the Soil
Conservation Service of the United States Department of Agriculture
and the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation may
be requested to attend this informal meeting to express their respective
views and to furnish their expertise.
