Editor's Note: This local law also included the following provision regarding transition: Until such time as the county and the Town shall institute a program of collection of recyclable materials in the Town, all recyclable materials (as defined in § 462-1 of this chapter) shall be deemed acceptable waste (as defined § 462-1 of this chapter) and shall be handled and collected accordingly. Furthermore, until such time as the county and the Town shall institute a program of collection of recyclable materials in the Town, the limit upon the amount of acceptable waste collected by the Town-provided service shall be 75 pounds per collection unit. No enforcement of § 462-3D shall be made until three months after the county and the Town shall institute a program of collection of recyclable materials in the Town.
