Any type of antenna and related receiving equipment that is
capable of receiving radio and television signals directly from satellites
located in a geostationary orbit, which type of antennas are also
known as "earth stations" and "dish antennas," shall be subject to
the provisions of this chapter.
Homeowners may erect one satellite antenna per home, provided
that said antennas comply with the following standards:
A. The antenna is no more than 11 feet in diameter.
B. The antenna shall be designed to withstand winds of up to 100 miles
per hour.
C. The antenna shall be set in suitable foundations and shall be screened
from view from the street and any neighboring properties by plantings
of evergreens that are at least four feet high at the time of installation,
with a mature height of not less than eight feet.
D. The antenna shall only be allowed in the rear yard of the premises.
E. The antenna shall not be less than 60 feet from the side yard lot
lines of the premises.
F. The antenna shall not be less than 80 feet from the rear yard lot
line of the premises.
G. The highest point of the antenna shall be no more than 13 feet above
the normal grade at the location where it is placed in the rear yard
of the premises.

Any person committing an offense against any provision of this
chapter shall, upon conviction thereof, be guilty of a violation pursuant
to the Penal Law of the State of New York, punishable by a fine not
exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days,
or by both such fine and imprisonment. The continuation of an offense
against the provisions of this chapter shall constitute, for each
day the offense is continued, a separate and distinct offense hereunder.
