Every dwelling house, store or other building shall be numbered in a conspicuous place facing the street upon which it fronts, with numerals of a uniform size and type as shall be designated by the Borough Engineer. Said numbers shall be kept in good condition so as to be always clearly discernible.

Any person who, after having been notified in writing so to do by the Borough Engineer, shall refuse or neglect, for 30 days, to put upon his, her or their house, store or other building the number determined upon by the Borough Engineer as the number of such house, store or other building, or to make the same clear and distinguishable, he, she or they shall, upon conviction before the Municipal Judge of such refusal or neglect, be subject to the penalty provided in Chapter 1, Article II, General Penalty.
