No milk shall be brought into the City of Glens Falls to be
pasteurized, the bacterial count of which exceeds 250,000 per cubic
centimeter.
Any milk found to be adulterated, as defined in the foregoing
section, which has been brought into the City of Glens Falls or is
held or offered for sale in said city may be seized and destroyed
by the Health Officer or by any inspector of the Board of Health authorized
to inspect milk.

On and after October 1, 1931, it shall be unlawful for any person,
firm or corporation to sell, offer for sale or have in his possession
for the purpose of selling or giving away to any person or persons
in the City of Glens Falls, County of Warren, State of New York, any
milk or cream which has not been pasteurized in accordance with the
rules and regulations for pasteurizing prescribed by the New York
State Department of Health.
A. The above described pasteurization shall be required in all cases
except those wherein such milk or its byproducts are obtained from
dairies which are under the direct control of a recognized Milk Commission
of the Warren County Medical Society, and this exception shall apply
only to products known as certified and inspected.
B. Any violation of the provisions of this section shall subject the
offending party to a penalty of not more than $50 for each offense
and, in addition to such penalty, such violation shall constitute
disorderly conduct and the person violating the same shall be a disorderly
person.
C. All ordinances and regulations adopted by this Board prior to this
date respecting the different kinds or grades of milk or cream sold
or given away or offered for sale within the City of Glens Falls are
hereby repealed or annulled, to take effect September 30, 1931.
