Multiple dwelling facilities shall not be located in the Resource
Protection, Limited Development, Meadow Pond, or Maritime Activities
Districts.
All parking facilities referred to in this section shall be
off street and on site.
A. All multiple dwelling units shall be provided with 1.5 parking spaces per dwelling unit consistent with Article
XV of this chapter.
B. The Planning Board may require more or fewer than 1.5 spaces per
dwelling unit for good cause.
The Planning Board shall require all multiple dwelling units
to meet all requirements of the State Fire Marshal's Office,
Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA), and the Americans with
Disabilities Act (ADA). The Planning Board may stipulate additional
safety requirements.
An applicant for multiple dwellings bears the burden of proof
that there would be no undue adverse effects on the aquifer, ferry,
parking, roads, public facilities, etc.
