[HISTORY: Adopted by Select Board of the Town of Islesboro 4-17-2019]
In order to prevent adverse effects on Islesboro’s soil,
water, and wildlife, as well as on the health of the island’s
residents and Town employees, it is the policy of the Select Board
that the municipality of Islesboro avoid the use of synthetic herbicides,
insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers in the care of Town owned
property whenever possible. The decision is the responsibility of
the Town Manager.
