A. 
Except as otherwise provided under the provisions of this section, no person shall at any time on Sundays or between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Mondays through Saturdays park or stand any commercial vehicle on that part or portion of any street in the Village which lies within a residential district except in cases of urgent necessity in the interest of personal/public safety and only for as long as the emergency continues. For purposes of this subsection, a residential district shall not include or extend to that part or portion of any street or highway which adjoins and is contiguous with the property line of any parcel, fronting on such street or highway, improved by a building or structure used for any lawful business or industrial purposes.
B. 
No person shall at any time park or stand a commercial vehicle in or upon any street or part of a street in the Village designated and described in Schedule XXIII (§ 180-65), attached to and made a part of this chapter, during the hours of any day(s) specified in said Schedule XXIII.
C. 
There shall be no off-street parking of any commercial vehicles in the residential district.
No person shall park a vehicle at any time upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XIII (§ 180-55), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stop a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XIV (§ 180-56), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in Schedule XV (§ 180-57), attached to and made a part of this chapter.
A. 
No person shall at any time park a vehicle upon any streets or parts of streets designated and described in Schedule XVI (§ 180-58), attached to and made a part of this chapter, during the hours of any day(s) specified in said Schedule XVI.
B. 
Notwithstanding any other provisions of this chapter, no person shall park any vehicle upon any streets or any parts of streets located within the residential district of the Village at any time between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. unless a permit has been issued and displayed as per this chapter.
C. 
No person shall park any vehicle upon any streets or any parts of streets posted and established by rule, order or regulation adopted pursuant to the provisions of this subsection as a snow emergency route, during any period declared by the Mayor or Board of Trustees to be a snow emergency.
No person shall stop a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XVII (§ 180-59) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall stand a vehicle during the times specified in Schedule XVIII (§ 180-60) of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XVIII, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle for longer than four continuous hours, at any time, upon any of the streets in the residential district of the Village or for longer than the time limit shown in Schedule XIX (§ 180-61) at any time between the hours listed in said Schedule XIX of any day, unless otherwise indicated, upon any of the streets or parts of streets described in said Schedule XIX, attached to and made a part of this chapter.
No person shall park a vehicle upon any of the streets or parts thereof described in Schedule XX (§ 180-62) except at the angle designated and only within the painted stall lines. On all streets or portions thereof where angle parking is now or shall hereafter be authorized, all vehicles parked thereon shall be parked with the front thereof nearest the curb.
The locations described in Schedule XXI (§ 180-63), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as loading zones during the days and times indicated.
The locations described in Schedule XXII (§ 180-64), attached to and made a part of this chapter, are hereby designated as handicapped parking zones.

A. 
Village Parking Lot No. 1 situated on Village-owned land at the intersection of the north side of Chester Avenue and the east side of Covert Avenue.
B. 
Village Parking Lot No. 2 situated on Village-owned land located between the boundaries of Elton Road, Fernwood Terrace and the Long Island Rail Road. Parking in this lot is limited to pool members, guests, Village employees and contractors; and Country Club patrons, employees and contractors. Long-term parking (parking in excess of 24 continuous hours) is not permitted.
C. 
Parking in any Village lot for a period of more than 24 continuous hours is prohibited
The Board of Trustees, and/or the Mayor of the Village, shall have the authority to designate:
A. 
Specified Village streets on which parking shall be prohibited for such time as appropriate due to a special circumstance or emergency; or
B. 
That parking which would otherwise be prohibited will be temporarily allowed.
A. 
Permit required; issuance of permits.
(1) 
No vehicle shall be parked or permitted to stand between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. in the residential district of the Village, unless a permit to park such vehicle in said district has been obtained from the Village Clerk of the Incorporated Village of Stewart Manor.
(2) 
All such parking permits shall be issued by the Village Clerk, or his/her designee, in accordance with applications and forms approved by the Board of Trustees. All vehicles for which such permits have been issued shall have conspicuously displayed on the left front dashboard of the vehicle a distinctive permit, issued by the Village Clerk, bearing the number of such permit, the resident address to which the permit has been issued, the signature of an authorized representative of the Village of Stewart Manor and the date for which the same shall be valid.
B. 
Fees; duration of permits.
(1) 
For any person residing in or owning property within the Village, hereby classified as a "resident" for purposes of this article, the fee for such permit shall be set forth in the Village Fee Schedule and may be amended from time to time via a resolution of the Board of Trustees.[1]

(2) 
All overnight parking permits shall be valid for a single date between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. and shall be issued solely to natural persons; and the fees therefor shall not be prorated over any period, nor shall any part or portion of such fees be refundable.
C. 
Proof of residency required. The Village Clerk or other designated issuing agent of such parking permits shall require proof (including but not limited to a current New York State driver's license) of residency of such applicant, showing the principal legal residence of such applicant to be located within the corporate limits of the Village of Stewart Manor Park, New York.
