Art. IX. Sec. 1 Members of the City Council Ineligible for Certain Offices.

No member of the City Council shall be appointed to any other office the salary of which is payable by the city. No member of the City Council shall, during the term for which he or she was chosen, be appointed to any salaried city office which shall have been created during such term.
