No mobile home park shall be developed, altered or extended
except in strict conformance with the provisions of this chapter.
No lawful mobile home park developed and operating prior to the effective
date of this chapter shall be added to or extended except in strict
conformance with the provisions of this chapter. Any lawful mobile
home park developed and operating prior to the effective date of this
chapter and subsequently discontinued for a period of one year shall
not thereafter be reestablished except in conformity with all provisions
of this chapter.
In case any mobile home park is erected, constructed, reconstructed,
altered, repaired, converted, or maintained, or any building, structure,
or land is used in violation of this chapter, the appropriate authorities
of the Town of Chesapeake Beach, in addition to other remedies, may
institute injunction, mandamus, or another appropriate action or proceeding
to prevent such unlawful erection, construction, reconstruction, alteration,
repair, conversion, maintenance or use; to restrain, correct, or abate
such violation; or to prevent any illegal act, conduct, business,
or use in or about such premises. The rights and remedies provided
in this chapter are cumulative and are in addition to all other remedies
provided by law.
