A. 
Violation of any provision of this chapter usually constitutes a violation of a provision of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York and is punishable as such. However, a violation of any provision of this chapter which is not a violation of any provision of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York is punishable as provided in this section.
B. 
Every person convicted of a traffic infraction for a violation of any provision of this chapter or traffic order of the Board of Trustees which is not a violation of any provision of the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York shall, for a first conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than $50 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment; for a second such conviction within 18 months thereafter, such person shall be punished by a fine of not more than $100 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment; upon a third or subsequent conviction within 18 months after the first conviction, such person shall be punished by a fine of not more than $250 or by imprisonment for not more than 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
C. 
Minimum fines. Violations of traffic regulations pursuant to any provisions of the Village's Code and/or the Vehicle and Traffic Law of the State of New York shall be punishable pursuant to the following schedule of minimum fines for a first conviction within an eighteen-month period:

D. 
Additional fines. In addition to Subsections B and C above:
(1) 
The amount of the parking fine shall be increased by 100% after 30 days from the date of issuance.
(2) 
The amount of the parking fine will be increased by an additional 50% after 90 days from the date of issuance.
(3) 
The amount of the parking fine shall be increased by an additional 50% after 180 days from the date of issuance.
(4) 
The amount of the parking fine shall be increased by an additional 50% after 540 days from the date of issuance. In addition, at such time, any and all outstanding fines, inclusive of penalties, will be reduced to a judgment and filed with the appropriate County Clerk.
