[HISTORY: Adopted by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Bath 10-7-1974 by L.L. No. 1-1974. Amendments noted where applicable.]
This chapter shall be known as the "Amended Curfew Ordinance."
It shall be unlawful for any person under 16 years of age to be or to remain in or upon any of the streets, alleys or public places in the Village of Bath, New York, after the hour of 10:00 p.m., unless such person is accompanied by a parent, guardian or other person having the legal custody of such minor person or whose employment makes it necessary to be upon said street, alley or public place after 10:00 p.m.
It shall be unlawful for any parent, guardian or any other person having the legal care and custody of a child under 16 years of age to allow or permit such child or ward to go or to be in or upon any of the streets, alleys or public places in the Village of Bath after the hour of 10:00 p.m.
Any child or person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be guilty of disorderly conduct, which is a violation, and shall be subject to a fine not exceeding $250.
