§ 586-54.1 Interference with postal delivery prohibited.

No person shall park a vehicle between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, federal legal holidays excepted, in such a way that said vehicle obstructs the ability of the Postal Service to make delivery to a residential curbside mailbox. Enforcement of this section shall occur only on complaint of the postal patron or the Postal Service.

A. Traffic facing a steady circular red signal alone shall stop at a clearly marked stop line or, if none, before entering the crosswalk on the near side of the intersection or, if none, then before entering the intersection and shall remain standing until an indication to proceed is shown except as allowed by Chapter 89, Section 8, of the General Laws.
