The Health Officer or Zoning Officer of the Town of Schroeppel shall have the right to enter upon the premises at any reasonable time for the purposes of inspection.
A.
If the Health Officer or other Town official, upon inspection, finds that a tourist camp or mobile home is not maintained in a clean or sanitary condition nor in accordance with the regulations set forth in this chapter, he shall serve upon the holder of such permit or person in charge of such tourist camp or mobile home an order, in writing, directing that the conditions therein specified be remedied within 48 hours after the service of such order. If, after the expiration of such period, such conditions remain unchanged or are not corrected in accordance with the order of the Health Officer, the Health Officer shall serve a notice in writing upon such tourist camp or mobile home owner or the person in charge of such tourist camp or mobile home, requiring the holder of such permit to appear before the Town Board of the Town of Schroeppel at a time to be specified in such notice, but within not less than 24 hours, and show cause why such permit should not be revoked.
B.
The Town Board may, after a hearing at which the testimony of witnesses, the Health Officer, Zoning Officer and the holder of such permit shall be heard, revoke such permit if the conditions described in the original order have not been corrected in accordance with the terms of such order or if the holder of such permit has violated the regulations applicable to such tourist camp or mobile home or has violated any of the provisions of this chapter, or for other sufficient cause. Upon the revocation of such permit, the premises shall forthwith cease to be used for the purpose of a tourist camp or mobile home residence and all trailers and/or mobile homes shall be removed therefrom.
A.
Any person committing an offense against any provision of this chapter shall be guilty of a violation punishable by a fine not exceeding $250 or by imprisonment for a term not exceeding 15 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment. The continuation of an offense against the provisions of this chapter shall constitute, for each day the offense is continued, a separate and distinct offense hereunder.
B.
Any person committing an offense against any provision of this chapter shall also be subject to a civil penalty in the amount of $100 for each offense, enforceable and collectible by and in the name of the Town, such penalty to be collectible for each day that such violation shall continue.
C.
In addition to the above-provided penalties, the Town Board may also maintain an action or proceeding in the name of the Town in a court of competent jurisdiction to compel compliance with or to restrain by injunction the violation of this chapter.
