As used in this article, the following term have the meaning indicated:
FIREWOOD
Any and all wood, whether or not intended to be used to maintain a fire or to otherwise be burned, including, but not limited to, logs, sticks, branches, timbers and lumber.
It shall be unlawful for any person, partnership, association, corporation or other entity, whether an owner or lessee of property, to maintain any firewood on the property unless the firewood is stored, stacked and/or piled in conformance with the following regulations:
A. 
All firewood shall be stacked, stored and/or piled in a neat fashion no less than six inches above any surface on which it is to be stored.
B. 
No stacks or piles of firewood shall exceed five feet in height or six feet in width or 26 feet in length.
C. 
There shall be an open area around each stack or pile of firewood of no less than three feet. Said open area shall be free and clear of all materials and structures.
D. 
No firewood shall be stored, stacked, piled or leaned against any fence or structure of any type.
E. 
Any and all stacks or piles of firewood shall be secured from falling, collapse or from being blown.
Any person, partnership, association, corporation or other entity violating any of the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a summary offense and shall be subject to a fine of not more than $1,000 or, upon the failure to pay any such fine, to not more than 90 days in jail. Each act in violation of any of the provisions hereof shall be deemed a separate offense.
