A.
The installation or alteration of any heating, ventilation and/or
air-conditioning system shall require an HVAC permit issued by the
Building Inspector before installation or alteration.
B.
Ordinary repairs to heating, ventilation and/or air-conditioning
systems may be made without the issuance of an HVAC permit; however,
such repairs shall not be construed to include the replacement of
any mechanical equipment units or additions of any pipe, duct or zones.
