A. 
The Mayor and Council is hereby authorized to have erected "stop," "no parking," "speed limit," "one way" and other traffic control and parking restriction signs to control, regulate, warn or guide traffic or limit parking on public streets, highways, or other areas in the Town of Galena when it is deemed necessary and in the best interest of the public.
B. 
The Mayor and Council is hereby authorized to place yellow lines, designating a "no parking area" on any Town street, when it is deemed to be necessary and in the best interest of the public.
C. 
It shall be the duty of all persons to observe all signs and traffic control devices erected pursuant to this article. Any person failing to observe any such sign shall be subject to penalties as set forth in § 167-4 of this article.

D. 
All traffic and parking control signs, signals, and other devices in place upon adoption date of this Code are hereby ratified and confirmed.

In any other location designated by the Town as a "no parking" zone, and visibly marked as such through conspicuous signage or roadside markings.
B. 
Parking of the following vehicles and vessels shall be prohibited on all Town streets:
(1) 
All commercial vehicles, except as permitted by Subsection C.
(2) 
All trailers of any kind or length, including commercial, recreational, personal and utility vehicles.
(3) 
Boats, jet skis and any other recreational vehicles.
(4) 
All mobile homes, recreational vehicles (defined as a motor vehicle or trailer equipped with living space and amenities found in a home), and fifth-wheeled vehicles.
C. 
A vehicle identified in Subsection B(1) that is parked on a Town street for the purpose of making a delivery or providing a service at the location at which it is parked shall be exempt. Notwithstanding the above, there shall be no overnight parking.
D. 
A violation of this section shall be a municipal infraction and subject to a warning for the first violation. Subsequent violations shall be subject to a fine of up to $500 for each violation in which a vehicle described herein is parked on a Town street.

It shall be unlawful to stop, stand, or park a vehicle or any obstruction on any public sidewalk within the Town limits, and, further, it shall be unlawful to place any obstruction in the Town right-of-way, without approval of the Mayor and Council.
Violations of the provisions of this article shall be a municipal infraction punishable as provided in Chapter 25 of this Code.

A. 
It shall be unlawful to operate the following enumerated motorized vehicles within the Town limits of Galena, Maryland: minibikes, trikes, go-carts, snow mobiles, and any other vehicles which cannot be licensed for operation on the public highway in the State of Maryland.
B. 
Notwithstanding the above, golf carts and motorized wheel chairs may be operated by handicapped or physically disabled individuals, provided that the individual is capable of operating the vehicle in a safe and prudent manner; in addition, the Mayor and Council may authorize the use of such vehicles for specific purposes for the good of the Town, including but not limited to participation in parades.

Any person violating the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a municipal infraction and be subject to a fine not exceeding $100 per day.
